When 99% of the field of scientists say one thing, you dont listen to those 1% that are crazy loonies, who have probably been paid to say whatever they say.

The overwhelming majority of scientists all believe in gobal warming, thats consensus enough for me.

Thats basically my view on it. I believe there "isnt a single chance" of it being exaggerated. I believe theres alot of greedy people that dont care, eitherway, and its their agenda to push this "there is no gobal warming" agenda.

"When 99% of the field of scientists say one thing"

Where do you get that data from? The people who say that global warming is caused by manking could also be paid to say so. You don't have to pay everyone, just the right people, because the majority won't have the guts to disagree. There's a strong believe, not a consensus.

https://www.skepticalscience.com/global-warming-scientific-consensus-intermediate.htm

Authors of seven climate consensus studies.

conclusions:

"Depending on exactly how you measure the expert consensus, it’s somewhere between 90% and 100% that agree humans are responsible for climate change, with most of our studies finding 97% consensus among publishing climate scientists."

"The greater the climate expertise among those surveyed, the higher the consensus on human-caused global warming."

Thus:

1) most scientists believe in global warming being man made.

2) the smartest scientists in this field, generally all lean towards it being "man made".

Its time to get real.

At this point its basically "lying" or borderlineing it, if you say "global warming isnt man made".   If you dont listen to the smartest people on the planet on the issue that do research into it.... what is even the point? You can believe whatever you want, if it makes you feel better.

Those that do it, are typically people that dont care about the enviroment and have vested money intrests in saying so, that is my opinion anyways.

Honestly; I don't get politics. When people throw left and right around I have no idea which is good and which is bad, here in the UK the two biggest parties are the Conservatives and Labour... if you ask me which is left and which is right, I'd not have a clue!

Are you for a soft break, exiting EU, so you might get a easier time, to transition.

or are you for a hard break? cut all ties as soon as possible and damn the consequences it might have to your nation in the short term.

You ll have to make up your mind soon if your going to vote.

I'm a socialist, guild socialist to be exact (for those wo don't know, it's largely about a cooperatively organized economy wherin people and companies performing the same functions bundle together (in guilds), which is overseen (but not directly controlled by) the government, the guilds basically would have a social contract between them, the government and the people).

I identify as a left-rothbardian, individualist anarchist by the way -- most similar to  Lysander Spooner, Samuel Konkin, and Roderick Long.

I reside in rural New Hampshire and consider myself a fascist, genocidal mad man. Nothing would bring me more pleasure than an outbreak of global, thermonuclear war.

It isn't just a U.S site by the way. If you go to the top right it will select for other other countries.

I'm sure threads like this have been created here on VG Chartz before, but I'm new to this place and haven't seen them if they're there. I'm just curious what everyone's general views on politics are. How would you (anyone) describe your views broadly?

Personally, I'm a believer in ideals like common ownership of property, absolute democracy, social equality, world peace, etc. I'm very much my own thing really, but over the years have been branded with many labels by people. For those who need labels to better understand things, some of the common ones I've come to accept in that time include anarchist, socialist, feminist, multi-culturalist, and environmentalist. I don't really have a particular underlying philosophy guiding any of that (like Marxism, nationalism, utilitarianism, post-structuralism, or whatever) though. Like I said, I'm just kind of me really and these are some of the labels my ever-evolving oddball view on life has been assigned by people over the years.

What about you (anyone)? How would you describe your political views?

I just say don't hurt anyone, and let people do what they want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone.
