Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo needs to put Pokken Tournament on the Switch.

I've watched the tournaments and it looks pretty good. I really do hope that Nintendo has informed Namco to port this game. This ontpp of a possible Pokemon Stars would be a huge announcement for me.

Don't worry. It will come. Maybe this year, maybe the next one, mayybe the one after that... but it will come.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I suspect a lot of WiiU games that didn't reach their full potential are going to be announced at e3

Nintendo should slowly put the Wii U library on to the Switch. They will get a couple $$$ from it.

Pocky Lover Boy!

I think it's a guarantee because Namco Bandai probably sees the potential in the series and will want to continue doing it on the Switch. But rather than port the game, maybe they'll create a new game using the same engine but expanding the game's mechanics and content as well as fixing all of the things that people complained about from the original game and reworking aspects of it to work on a single screen only kind of like what Nintendo is doing with Splatoon 2.

Considering there's probably only 12-15 Wii U games worth porting, that shouldn't be much of a problem. I'd say port 2-3 Wii U games per year.  One each during July and August when Nitnendo typically doesn't put out any 1st party retail releases and maybe one once in a while during a slow winter/spring.

If they do I hope they include the dlc characters.

HONESTLY... i prefer pokken 2....

fix what is broken and perfect it on the second one... maybe in 2 or 3 years?

I'd rather have new games instead of ports...

Didn't that kinda, flop?

Namco would have to do it. Also, a sequel would make more sense, right?
