Wow that puts things into perspective.  It wasn't long ago people would have said halo wars 2 was a big exclusive and Nier was niche.  And I wouldn't have disagreed with them either.  How the tables have turned. 

Acceptance of that is a good thing, howbeit not enough...  Forgive me, but  shouldn't you have already fixed that? So many days and people see a  recently proved as erroneous weekly figure and make conclusions! I'm completely sure about your concern about number being as accurate as possible, you're a responsible person.

New 3ds xl pikachu edition was one day in February npd but that thing perfomed extremely well! Scarcity of 3DS in January and early february and for the first time a Pikachu New 3DS xl, which has been released after the Pokemon go and Pokemon S/M mania!

It's probably not too wrong. And 8.7 million isn't that much actually. The 3DS has 5 games that sold more than 10 million.

Unfortunately, I think the 10 million club is going to have a lot fewer members this gen compared to last gen, probably most significantly because of the Wii vs Wii U situation, but with 9 games over 10 million on X360 and 7 games over 10 million on PS3 that is a big hill for PS4+Xb one to climb, with Xb one contributing nothing at this point. All tolled, across handheld and home console the 10 million club had over 30 members in the 7th gen. So far the 8th gen has a club of just 9, maybe 12 if you assume a decent proportion of digital sales.

I'm not sure if I would ever have called Halo Wars a major exclusive, but this is really impressive for Nier regardless. I've heard a lot of great things about the game.

Another week of insane PS4 HW domination, dropping a couple of k, but rising from 57% to over 59% of total HW weekly sales including all portable and home consoles of this gen plus PS360.
Can't wait for Switch launch week and successive ones numbers, PS4 probably resisted at more than good second place numbers, but whatever is neither Switch nor PS4 must have been totally dwarfed.
