To be fair, it's only certain niche media that spreads right wing FUD. The mainstream media in Germany is more on the immigrant loving side.
So it's not really "the media" that is spreading misinformation but just a handful of right wing nuts talking to their echo chambers.

You need to explain what you mean by right wing fud. Cuz I have seen videos of crimes being comited and the response of the media is sweep it under the rug. Even cops saying they dont act because they are afraid of being laveled a racist. I really belive tthe fud is coming from the lef.

The thing is, crime happens all the time. It is exceptional when the media DOES report it. There are, in the United States, each year, 15 000 homicides (murders),115 000 forced rape cases (like, actual rape, not sexual harassement), 700 000 cases of aggravated assault (sending someone to the hospital), 7 000 000 cases of theft.
Media can't cover all of that, as the time in a day is limited. So they pick and choose.
Statistically, they will pick and choose cases involving immigrants much more often than those that don't involve an immigrant. This makes sense, from a buisness perspective; add another issue or contreversy, whch increases interest.
The problem, in the modern day, is that the media can give a strongly falsified image of the world while presenting nothing but true stories. In the numbers that we live in nowadays, you can find individual examples that support absolutely ANY statement you're trying to make, right or wrong. And that's why any individual examples, if a dozen, or a hundred of them, are completely worthless as an argument.
Statistics do show that refugees commit crime more than the average citizen (as is the case for any poorer demographic you can find, in Germany or elsewhere.) However, as they do not represent more than 1-1.5% of the population, this has no significant on the security of the country as a whole. Crime rates are still going down. Germany now is safer than Germany 10 years ago, and much safer than the US right now.
