Moving forward this will not be an issue, as the manufacturing variation has been addressed and corrected at the factory level.

We have determined a simple fix can be made to any affected Joy-Con to improve connectivity.

There are other reasons consumers may be experiencing wireless interference. We are asking consumers to contact our customer support team so we can help them determine if a repair is necessary. If it is, consumers can send their controller directly to Nintendo for the adjustment, free of charge, with an anticipated quick return of less than a week. Repair timing may vary by region. Luckily i didn't have that problem, but great news for those that do.

I did find a dead pixel just to the right of center on my screen though, which has me super depressed. Hopefully they can do something about that next.

Nice to see them doing it for free instead of saying nothing and forcing you to buy another pair.

You may be able to get them to repair it. They have a great warrentee on their systems where if it is a problem with the system and not caused by "un-intended" use, ie throwing it, they will repair most things for free for the frist year-to-two years.
