RPGs and RTSs. Specifically Elder Scrolls and Total War. I'll go back and play Skyrim or even (heavily modded) Oblivion from time to time, playing it at a more relaxed pace than I did back in the day. And Shogun 2 Total War and Medieval 2 Total War are the pinnacles of strategy games for me. Especially M2TW thanks to the total conversion Third Age: Total War. But Zelda has also become a mainstay of mine as well.

Edit: oh and Kirby, especially Triple Deluxe and Super Star.  Planet Robobot too now.

I've been playing Paradox Interactive games consistently for a decade now. Seriously, between the Crusader Kings and Europa Universalis franchises (with some dabbling in Victoria/Hearts of Iron) I just never feel like I'm done with those games lol

They also have, in my opinion, they very best DLC practices in the industry, keeping their games fresh for years and years.

Platformer and racing are the two genres I tend to gravitate to more than others.

RPGs all day everyday. Rarely do I play other genres. In the past I dabbled, but these days if I play anything other than strict RPGs it's usually hybrid RPGs. Destiny and Horizon are the most recent hybrids, Destiny being RPGish FPS, Horizon being an ARPG.
