The only problem I see with the port would be, making it work in handheld mode D:, most of Skyward Sword use Motion Controllers

While they should really make Mario Sunshine HD a priority, this would be good too!

some motion controls feels like forced.
I really liked the sword and archer play, but swimming and harp play was awful. They can improve a lot, or ditch part of it (although, harp play with HD rumble can be amazing, the responsiveness can make all the difference and make it great).
They could use it for testing ideas for next zelda, like they did in WWHD to botw.

After reading through this again, I think it's a bit hasty to jump to the conclusion that SS HD is the only logical explanation for a SS costume. It could just be a DLC costume added later on, or perhaps we'll get an SS Link amiibo without an HD version in the same way that we got 8 Bit Link without a NES LoZ remake.

I would prefer a remake of Skyward Sword that offers gimmicky motion controls, but let's you use normal button inputs for when you don't want to look like a jackass while playing.

It's possible that there's skyward sword related story relating to the dlc instead, which I'm leaning more towards.

omg i would get a switch for this if the motion controls worked. I did not like botw and am craving some real zelda!

After WW HD and TP HD, i definitely expecting SS HD also.
And I hope that OoT 3D, MM 3D and ALBW will also get HD treatment.
