Forums - Gaming Discussion - Do you have gaming memories that you miss? I'm covered in feels right now!

Sooo I keep getting emotional about this time that happened in my life as a gamer where it was so good. I miss it on a monthly basis!

We all have those gaming times that gave you great memories and it gives you a smile each time you think about it, right? That's the case for me. I'd do anything to go back and re-experience it again. I'll give you all the details why it was great for me.

It was in Nov 2013 -  Jan 2014. Feb 2014 was great too but I don't think of that time often. I bought GTA V and played online ALL the time. My best cousins would come over, we'd go get slurpees and nachos at 7/11 at late nights (Even if there was a cold blizzard at 1am, we'd still go). VINE was popular and I went on there more than any other app.  I'd revine, like, make LOADS of Vines myself. Vine was my life! My bestfriend from my hometown would play GTA V with us online and we'd laugh ALL night because it was that damn fun. It was also CHRISTMAS time which made it funner! My Moms christmas baking, eggnog, and holiday mornings were fantastic. I went to subway this one morning with my Cousin and we had a blast there, he fell and I found it funny. Sitting in subway listening to this catchy song was great too. Christmas Day I facetimed my grandfather and everyone at his house were saying hi to me and I showed all my family members the screen so they could see him, my heart melted. I still have some screenshots of that night.

The Music I was listening to was great, the food was  great, Vine was great, Playing GTA V all night was great, Super Mario 3D World, A Link Between Worlds, Donkey Kong Country returns, Subway, My cousins, slurpees, nachos, staying up all night, laughs, PS3, my friend from my hometown, holiday spirit, christmas music, and many more things. I'd do anything to relive it all over again.

What's your best gaming memories? I'd love to read about them!

Playing Runescape a long time ago with so many friends. That game always brings memories.

Playing Mario Kart DS with everyone at school. Was always so much fun and a lot of us didn't even need the game which was awesome.

im still in high school right now (senior), and one day a few years ago a bunch of us got this crazy idea to start a video game club, and now every week we bring consoles in, hook them up to projectors and just go crazy with whatever games are popular at the time. there have been full on Smash Bros and Halo tournaments, torturing each other with abominable SMM levels, and made a few people do blind runs of Undertale. mix all of that together with rampant screaming and jokes thrown at you from every angle, and thats basically what it is

technically its something im still doing, so not a memory quite yet, but i will miss when i graduate in a few months.

Ooo boy. So many. Playing Alien Front Online on the Dreamcast was pretty special for me. Not my first online game, but the first one I played extensively.

Playing Halo demo and Age of Empires III in secondary school was lovely, although I never knew what my homework was at the end of my lessons...

Staying up all night and beating games at my one high school friend's. I think Arkham Asylum was the last one we did together. I remember God of War 2 when we saw the last cutscene and just were screaming at the TV lol. Also Mario Kart and Smash on WiiU in college. Can't get local MP parties together anymore but man 8 players in Smash the one time was AMAZING!

I am Iron Man

Staying up all night playing crash bandicoot 2 on ps1 in 98. Then sonic adventure and soul calibur on dreamcast the year later. Holidays and video games are the best. Now at 34 I don't have a lot of time or much interest in playing anymore.

As a kid staying the night at my nephew, sneaking out of bed between like 5am - 6am to play Mario Kart on the Gamecube and Age of Empires.
