Hmm. I might pick this up at a later date too, rather then day one. It really seems like a mass effect game with much of it's soul ripped out. Well, at least the gameplay its solid. I've been wanting this game for years. Suffice to say, I'm disappointed.

I think your the first Person Ive ever heard say they're buying a Mass effect game for its multiplayer.

Fallout has been "destroyed"?  You're going to have to explain that one.  Fallout 4 is a very good game that had good reviews despite running on an engine that's 20 years old.

If I were you I'd really pick it up and play it yourself. I've been waiting for ME for years as well it's my favorite game series of all time. In no way shape or form have I been disspappointed. It's almost funny seeing these reviews cause it just doesn't reflect my time with the game. As long as the story is good (which so far so good) then I see no problems here.

was to be expected this would happen at some point when Bioware was bought by EA

i think they will put it on hold for a while, maybe shut down the studio that made it (although I read elsewhere that many were only working by contract, so there may not be many people to actually get rid of)

hopefully in the meantime they will release the original trilogy remastered, don't see why they wouldn't at this stage when EA love money and this will not hit their expectations

 All previous games had scrores above 90 on Metacritic.  

It's Bioware. They are sort of victims of their own success right now. I even see people comparing it to Zelda and Horizon which I have no idea why. I have a feeling DAI would have scored much lower if it was released after The Witcher 3.
