I just cant spend 60 bucks with what im hearing. problem is that this is EA and Origin and the prices dont drop like they do on Steam.

I'm pretty sure they have called it an action Rpg with online. so similar to me 2 n 3 combined with destiny?

I think even if it's ready to go this year they will wait for January/February. Rdr2, battlefront 2(which is there game) destiny 2, cod, and probably assasins creed are this year. Then there's smaller titles/exclusives. I'm sure Sony has a lot of games like gt sport, god of war and more ms will have crackdown, forza and a few more. Lord of the rings as well this year more big games Probably unannounced or I'm forgetting. 

so as you can see a shit ton of games around then. Last year they released titanfall 2 at a jam packed time and I'm sure they are regretting it now. 

Seems like the meta-metascore is about 75.

Funny how 75 for Until Dawn is ZOMG sleeper hit! But 75 for Mass Effect is ZOMG epic fail!

Since I really enjoy Mass Effect, and since some of the criticisms about facial animations is not that big of a deal to me, any meta above 70 is fine by me. I've watched one of the montage videos of crappy graphics in ME:A and I gotta say, none of it particularly bothered me. And I expect some of it will be patched.

After the Naughty Dog explanation for the facial animations, I'm going to go ahead and blame the EA top brass for telling Bioware "no more delays for tidy ups".

Until Dawn got 79. 

75 for a game that's expected to get 60 is great. 

75 from one of the most respected IPs and was expected to get 85+ is disappointing.

Context is a thing you know. 

Yeah, that's not a good comparison at all.  One was an "interactive narrative  experience" expected to get a 70 at best while the other is a sequel to one of the most respected WRPG franchises of the previous gen. 

And Naughty Dog's explanation actually makes me put most of the blame on developer leadership and not publishers.  EA I assure you didn't tell them to try and hand animate all the faces, that was one of the lead developer's calls.  And one that they really should have known was an absolutely terrible idea. 

Hard to say without knowing all the details but most devlopers have certain  criteria to meet at certain stages of development  it sems to be a failure across the board  so the team and the suits need to share the blame and most importantly learn from it.

PC score went down another point, bringing the score to 76

Honestly I've gotten further than I did in the trail on PC on PS4. Game is turning out better than I thought. It's more of an RPG than the last 2 games. Similar to ME1 in a lot of ways but with much better combat. It's has it flaws but it still seems to be solid game. The disparity in scores makes a lot of sense to me now. If you get past the initial part of the game, it gets a lot better.
