So I just received an email from Redbox with code for a free game night. That means the first night, and only the first night, is free. However, I'm reluctant to rent anything that will take more than 24 hours to beat, lest I incur additional fees.

So, my options:

1) Rent a game with a short campaign like For Honor
2) Rent a longer game like Horizon and pay for the extra days needed to finish it
3) Screw the whole thing and keep playing Breath of the Wild

A few of the available games:

  • Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon
  • Horizon: Zero Dawn
  • For Honor
  • Battleborn
  • Battlefield 1
  • Mafia III
  • Farming Simulator 17

Since you will only have 1 day with it lest you pay 3 bucks for each extra night, go with Battleborn.
It's fun game and it works great as a pick-up and go game.

Rent Mafia. Buy Horizon.

Get the best game there ... Farming Simulator 17

Rent Horizon, then hopefully buy it.

You can rush through BF1 in a few hours. The campaign sucks balls though. So just screw it and play Zelda.

Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

Every single game is horrible for your putposes.Just stick with option 3 XD

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Rent then buy Horizon

Rent Battlefield 1 and do the campaign. Just straight up buy Horizon, that is a game where you should take your time and do everything in, and trust me, you'll will want to come back and revisit this game time and time again.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.
