lol, it's bad when the human woman looks and behaves more alien than a creature designed to look as alien as possible.

LMFAO !!!!!!! KILL...ME...NOW!

That 3 seconds long sentence gets a 10/10 for self acknowledgement, everything else gets a 0/10 for balancing

Yeah Edmonton only worked on DLC content for ME before. It's not the usual ME studio. As for the game being on new engine, that didn't stop the Dragon Age Inquisition team from handling Frost Bite far better. Of course the Dragon Age team has been pretty much the same development team since it's inception.

You are so wrong on what you just said. Edmonton made the ENTIRE original ME trilogy. Not just DLC, the whole thing. Some DLC may have been outsourced though. Also many people were moved to Montreal for the development of Andromeda but most of the core people stayed in Edmonton. Edmonton also has a small team that was helping out with Andromeda, the main focus is still the new IP that should be revealed later this year. Also perhaps a new Dragon Age is in development ;)

Also Mac Walters, a main writer of the series who came in for ME2 is in Montreal and wrote Andromeda.

You are absolutely right. I confused Montreal and Edmonton for some reason. My apologies. As for Mac Walters, I didnt really care for his work on the original trilogy. I thought Drew Karpyshyn did a much better job. Mac seemed way too enamored with Liara at the expense of other characters and seemed to completely abandon original narrative theme of the series. He also just dropped the dark energy plot line and left it with no resolution.

@d21lewis

I preordered it as well. I usually don't do digital pre-orders. I hear that the game gets better after Eos. So hopefully thats true. I just don't understand how they screwed up the Character Creator, save system, and animation so badly. The Dragon Age team already transistioned to Frost Bite. Couldn't they have leaned on their experience with the engine or made use of their facial animation technology?

Of course! Though I do disagree about the whole Mac Walters thing. I mean sure he made a full graphic novel for Liara which bridges the gap in ME2 from where Shepard is KIA'd. I wouldn't say he focused too much on her, I really don't see this. But I don't deny her importance and she is one of my favorite characters. As for the Dark Energy plotline. Unfortunately that is one of about 4 or so different endings that was being work toward. A lot of things didn't get resolution unfortunately and many things were changed to fit the new vision started upon in ME2 and altered a bit more in ME3.

I disagree completely on Liara. With the exception of ME3 which only completed 3 times. I finished ME1 and ME2 with virtually every combination of Shepard you can imagine. In ME3, Liara gets more dialog and focus from Shepard than he/her love interest. Tali is the only one that comes close content wise. If your Shepard stuck with Ashley or Kaidan, it's almost laughable how much more content you get from Liara eventhough you chose someone else. And they make out better than the ME2 cast. Even if you pick the "screw you" ending in ME3. Liara gets the focus of that.

I think I found the answer why they made the animations so bad. They don't want mans1ay3r doing any more gamer poop of their games, so they decided to put crap dialogue mixed with crap animations in the game to ruin his plans for the game.
