I've bought and played 13 out of those games and had some great time. Along with some excellent multiplat games such as The Witcher 3 I'm more than satisfied with this gen.

When I see this list, and think back to the 360 days, well you could see how it would appear underwhelming. Or maybe it's just me. 

We used to make these lists with 85+ scores, and sometimes even 90+. 75+ almost made it seem like a joke. 

No offense.

EDIT: Not to mention that after now looking at the playstation version of this thread, they only used the last year versus this thread's 3. :/

it too much, all i want is diversity in there exclusives, people have been asking them this for the last half of the 360 and all this gen and they just don't seem to want to listen at all. I won't take buying exclusives btw. They have studios and i want them to use them. Im planning to get a Scorpio this year but i don't want to see another Halo/Gears/Forza this gen.

There are actually 4 Halo games, and 4 Forza games on that list. Granted, 2 of the Halo games are from a totally different genre, but in terms of brand exposure in general, it's definitely a lot.

Wow, I figured after the PS Now announcement that console exclusives would make a comeback but I didn't think it would be this fast lol.

meh. I want Sunset this gen, not much else. I'm not really into FPS though Resistance 3 is my favorite ever due to pretty going against Halo as it brought back health packs and more than 2 weapons as well as having some creativity with their weapons.  Also not into racers so yearly Forzas do nothing for me.

reviewers have gotten a lot tougher this gen.  I mean Horizon got the same score as Uncharted 1.  Things were clearly inflated during the hayday of PS360.  Also how the hell did Ratchet and Clank a Crack in Time get such low reviews compared to the other games in the franchise?  Wait Resistance 3 was rated lower than 2?  Metacritic is making me question all reviews as I look at it now.

In that post, I meant to say along the lines of "if you want to continue the full exclusive vs console exclusive debate, make a separate thread". I should've been more clear.

Actually the community has always been split down the middle about how much credit to give console exclusives. Edit - actually not even split down the middle, more gamers accept console exclusives than not.

IF the vast majority of the community discredit console exclusives then we wouldn't have to discredit your comment.
