I know, right? My first playthrough I had all but one of the kids left standing - but one decision towards the end killed all but two of them and I just said "Awwwww, aw, aw, awwww!" as they all died. LOL

lol I ended up having most die as well.  Heavy Rain I remember I got the worst possible ending with the reporter not finding a password and the killer escaping while everyone esle died lol

I think Cage's next game Detroit isgoing to take the "Choose your own adenture" genre to another level. That E3 trailer had so many options - and that was just one scene. I'm glad he went with this because after I saw that Kara tech demo I was like "why the hell isn't Quantic Dream making this their next game?!" Can't wait!

I am just happy Sony now have a big IP western rpg franchise. In horizon, at first try in rpgs they killed it, i am sure next horizon game will be even better.

Their first try on big RPGs was LoD, they killed it, both ways, best game ever made, never touched it again

Do you think they'd go the Ratchet & Clank route and release a remastered LoD?  Maybe it could lead to part 2 (as I'm sure Insomniac now has plans for a R&C sequel)

PS1 games remasters are more like remake, Crash for example.
Anyway, Sony doesn't seem to care the least bit about it, so I don't see a remaster coming, at all, actually, they are trying to revive some old stuff with smartphone games in the future and guess what? No LoD. Sony just doesn't give a fuck.

But a full remake would be the way to go, it's just to risky to release a part 2 for a game 18 years old. A Prequel could also work well, to bring more atention to a posterior remake.

I'll always be believing, but odds are ridiculously low.

I don't think it's too crazy or unrealistic- after R&C they announced a Crash and Parappa Remake. Sony seems to listen and know what the fans want.

Those are easy projects for easy money.
Remaking a massive JRPG is a costy, lenghty and risky project, specially when it wasn't very well received critically wise back in the day (though it got a great cult following).
Look at FF7, it was by far the biggest JRPG of the time, it's actually still the best selling big JRPG ever, and it took Square Enix 20 years to go for a remake, and their are making big changes and splitting it up in parts to try to justify doing it.

True - but JRPGs are making a comeback - in fact it seems like a complete revival on PS4. The cult following is more of a reason to do so than reception. I guess that's why Knack 2 is happening.

yeah people tend to trash on his games for not being challenging or enough of games but they really get me immersed in a story and while I enjoy more challenging and less cinematic games as well, I like variety and to relax a little more sometimes.  It's fun playing a game for the story mainly sometimes like Telltale or Mass Effect on easy or something especially after playing a Demon's Souls or something.

Yeah - I know exactly what you mean! A good example is Nioh - where I'd keep getting my ass handed to me and would need to take a break- so I'd pop in Gravity Rush 2 to calm down and take a break.

So very many good JRPGs.
I'm coming for you Persona 5. Then I'm gonna get you FF12.
And in there somewhere? I may catch me a Horizon Zero Dawn.

I wonder how many Playstation exclusives(+PC) they are releasing at the latter half of the year. It feels like they releasing so very, very, very of them in the first half, so they don't conflict with anything at the end of the year.

Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, especially, was extremely good. Love how you can play it with the revamped gameplay and on classic mode.

I hadn't heard of the game before. I grabbed the demo. It INSTANTLY sold me. The game was so very amazing. I also loved how very different the characters were. They played in so many different ways.

The food was fun too. And even though this is a Playstation thread I'm going to break some rules. If you have a wii U? Get Tokyo Mirage Sessions.

Oh and if a FF fan get World of Final Fantasy. How can there be soo many good JRPGS lately?

The game's soundtrack and Vanillaware's artstyle sold me. I personally weigh music pretty heavily when I consider purchasing a game and Odin Sphere didn't disappoint.

weather you choose to accept or disregard the term console exclusive, doesn't change the gfact that if in addition to playing on PC you can only play it on one of three consoles makes it a console exclsuive.

I just think it's funny that when Microsoft announced that all future 1st party Xbox games would also be coming to PC, people like you started posting "Xbox has no more exclusives", but when a list like this shows up you're the first person here defending the idea of 'console exclusivity'.  It's just funny to me, that's all.  Not looking to start an argument.

I don't even know what there is to argue about.

As it stands the XB1 and Windows are ttied together (for better or worse). Its not that MS has console exclusives, its that MS has windows exclusives and that means you can get nearly every MS exclusive (excpet I think Halo) on the PC. It doesn't have any true exclusive. Nothing to argue about there. If you own or plan to build a decent PC, you can do with never buying an XB1. Thats a fact.

Now in addition to those "console exclusives" MS has sony also has true exclusives. These are games that even if you own a PC you will not be able to play.

I find it funny that when it suits people like you that distinction is lost to you.

In case this difference is still lost to you, if sony were MS, it would mean all of horizon, gravity rush, bloodborne, uncharted, driveclub, rathet, the last gaurdian........etc would also be on the PC. Get it now?
