Second Week Sales (Media Create)

Wii: 85.439 / 435.797
3DS: 209.623 / 584.387
PSV: 72.479 / 397.338
Wii U: 126.916 / 435.058
PS4: 65.685 / 374.839
Switch: 61.998 / 391.150

Switch isnt holiday and ita very supply limited at least for the week

So, the Switch is actually a flop, relatively speaking? It has the worst second week of all these systems -- and it is behind Wii U and Wii already. Can't see the trend reversing now?

By thay logic wouldnt wiiu be a 20mip selling home console in japan alone? Dont take the forst couple of weeks seriously. Its off to a good start as its very supply constraint at the moment.

Maybr in about a month we will know whats going on

Sure, but didn't Nintendo send at least 500k units over to Japan? If only 1.5m has been sold already, then it is not supply constrainted yet, no?

I still think the Switch will pick up steam later on. It is a handheld-based device, and Japan loves handhelds.

No

Well PS4 total is lower and no one thinks PS4 is a flop. And Switch isn't a handheld.

Switch!!!

Awesome legs for Nier Automata! 300K is locked now.

Good hold for Horizon 200K is locked which is awesome.

Nice 2nd week for Zelda. It could have legs.

Nioh could have sold more if weren't for the supply issue but great sales nonetheless. Although showing nice legs.

Bad 2nd week for DQ 1&2 for switch.

Somewhat good sales for KH but KH 3 needs to be release sooner.

KH 1.5+2.5 claiming #2 was destined to happen.

Of course, it is a re-release of re-release. Square Enix should stop blue balling its fanbase with all of these spin offs and re-releases and start to seriously consider release KH 3, this century if possible.

I was just referring to 1.5 & 2.5's original releases. You cannot change the events that are destined to happened, which is why 2.8 claimed the #1 spot during its release. :D

What do you mean?

It's a hybrid, so it's both handheld and home console ( or it's even a tablet console too ), Nintendo calls it home gaming system, so we could deem it as portable home console!

Of course, if you mean that switch is not a handheld for 3DS owners ( mainly those who don't care for home gaming on tv ) then yeah it's not a handheld console for them! They will have to pay 29000 yen for switch and 6000 yen for Mario kart 8 deluxe when they spent 19000 yen and 4500 yen ( by the time Mario kart 7 was released )

As I have said several times, they  will have to wait for a big price drop or proper 3DS successor switch revision  ( if that would be just a handhled device then that isn't a switch, switch it is the dock and detachable controlers plus the grip,  but they could still name it  switch because of taking same games )

As it now better be destined to those who like both of the gaming ways and will pay just 300$ for them while they had to throw 500-600$ in the previous gen, and home console players who love the oppurtunity to be able to play what they were playing on tv lying on the sofa, anywhere inside & outside home and soever they want,  299$ initial price for a home console is very good, in the near future it will become  just 249$.

Still surprised at 1 2 Switch sales
