To hear Insomniac talk about it it doesn't sound like MS has shown any interest in a sequel.

It would be nice, but I wouldnt blame Microsoft from feeling weary about the franchise if it didnt turn a profit. Insomniac hasnt had a game surface since 2015. I think its time for part two to be revealed  for the holiday season if all is well. If this is one of the exclusives Microsofts waiting to reveal at E3 I will flip.

Not my favorite IP but I really love the game. So I would not complain for a second itteration :)

Microsoft has been known to keep their cards held close to their vest. its harder to find an MS leak for a game than Sony because everyone expects new games from Sony. Microsoft is always the underdog when it comes to exclusives, so when they do those reveals at E3, its truly surprising. This is why this E3 is going to be a huge, huge thing for them if they can surprise people.

I wish Microsoft had a variety of games over the past three gens where I could say it wasnt my favorite IP, but from them its very high up there. Insomniac needs the money and Microsoft deseperately needs interesting exclusives. Im with you on being all for a second iteration, bro. ;)

MS should be the publishers but Insomniac owns the IP so they're free to go to any publisher and have the game funded I would assume. Probably won't see SO2 until 2019 at the earliest.
