Do a new Starfox instead.
Wii U's starfox didnt make me want to own it.

The gameplay, controllers and graphics all looked underwhelming.
Nintendo need to do better, or just leave it alone.

Porting the game to the switch wont make me more intrested in it.

Yes sir, the controls are the main thing stopping me from getting the game even when it's on sale. Without them I think I could deal with the Gyrowing n Walker.

I'm in the minority that thought it controlled fine. Took an hour or two to get used to but after that, no big.

Nah. Controls work fine, and the game would require significant redesign to accommodate an older control scheme. Best to just make a new game with those controls in mind.

I think there were a good amount of problems with the game besides the controls.

Even though I actually didn't mind the motion controls, I can see why a lot of people disliked them, and I was still not a fan of things like the gyrowing and whatever, some of the levels felt like they borrowed too many things from 64, and that barrel roll level just made me wanna bang my head against the wall.

I rather they forget about this game and move on.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I suppose another question that must be asked in light of many of these answers would be: Do you really want Nintendo using resources to attempt a new Star Fox from scratch that might otherwise go to another game?

That's one of my primary motives for seeing them just try to salvage this one as, to be frank, I just don't think it's worth starting over when they could be making something new or perhaps showing some love elsewhere.

You know, I would love to play this game without the Gamepad. I'd buy it.

Without the GamePad the game might have been a 7/10 at best, still nowhere as good as the original and 64.

I enjoyed it but I have never played it before only the 3ds version one.

Even so I feel this franchise needs refreshing.

Nintendo doesn't seem to be doing any of these suggestions. They've only made Splatoon. And Metroid has been ignored.
