It's dead. Series was never great. 1-2 were decent RPGs. III was garbage then the Kinect game was crap and Legends did not look good. They own Rare and it's IPs so why not revise Wizards and Warriors as an RPG. The best thing they could do if they want a western RPG is create a new IP. Fable name was tarnished already.

Reboot it.

The franchise still has a ton of value to MS the problem is that they need to reboot it and massively upgrade the quality of the game while keeping it's charm that separates it from other RPGs.

The problem is that don't believe that MS can make a game comparable to the quality of the many great Open World RPG games that have come out this gen.

Who is gonna make it? MS keeps shutting down their studios. I can only think of 3 or 4 studios they got, actually. 343, black tust and turn 2?3? I don't recall exactly the number...and Rare. Two of those released games last year. I have no idea what MS can even show this E3 except for the X1 Pro.

Give me a Fable 2 Anniversary with better achievements (as in, no Dollcatcher pls). A Fable 4 would be great if they used the same graphics, assets and soundtrack (one of the best fantasy soundtracks ever) from Fable Legends.

if MS were smart they would attempt to salvage the Legends assets and make it into Fable 4.

I could actually really go for a nice Fable reboot. Then again, it's probably going to be locked to the Windows store, so no thanks.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

i like the wizards and warriors idea. I hope it stars Fabio as the main character. Just call the game Fabio. So much win!

Wait for after this E3. Im sure they will suprise us all. If not i can see a Reboot later down the line

It will be announced this year or next year is my assumption, they could hire a studio or let rare make it.
Now they wanted to sell Lionhead and there where buyers but the deals got shot down because they wanted to keep the Fable franchise.

The Fable franchise is strong and it can sway people to buy a new xbox, they will use it this generation. Lets hope the sequel or reboot lives up to the hype, I am a huge fable fan!
