Prototype is the sleeper hit, not a sequel and not being hyped much.

I'd say at least two new IPs on the Wii will become "sleeper hits" - enough that they become franchises.
Pick two from any of the following: Mushroom Men, Deadly Creatures, Blast Works, Bloom Blox, Disaster: Day of Crisis, Okami Wii, Fragile, Monster Lab, de Blob. My money's on Deadly Creatures, Mushroom Men, and Monster Lab, personally.
Also, several WiiWare titles have the makings of cult hits: Eternity's Child, LIT, Shantae 2, and LostWinds in particular.
"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."
