If rumors are true, no way in hell this thing is going to be at $399... i'm calling $499, but i wouldn't be suprised to see this thing at $549.

This is premium, and Microsoft will make a console to capture hardcore fans that want premium and want to pay for premium...

I'm still not sure what this means for future Xbox consoles. I mean the same disc plays on this and Xbox 1 right? So it's not a next gen console with backwards compatibility. It doesn't have any exclusive games I don't think. So are they going to do that? Because now I don't think they'll be out any time soon or what would the point of releasing Scorpio be? I guess the 9th gen will start in 2020 and Nintendo is just completely their own thing now with Switch already out.

I will be getting one, but I think like with the PS4 Pro it'll be kind of a small part of overall sales since most will continue to go for the cheaper Xbox One S.

But it can go a long way in changing their image as being a weaker console with a horrible launch. It will be one of the cheapest and easiest 4k streaming devices for people who broadcast and a great media center with a UHD drive while providing significantly better quality in games.

Xbox needs this, many people hate Xbox with good reason after the 2013 launch but since then they have also done a lot of good and lets hope the launch of the Scorpio they can cash in on this and people will start supporting the Xbox brand again.

Im glad to hear you feel like I do and will support this system, its always best to own all consoles in my opinion :)
