I'm slightly concerned this game is going to massively suffer in sales because of Horizon Zero Dawn and Zelda. It's clearly obvious it deserves to have good sales, I just hope it'll have good legs.
I'll be buying once I've finished Horizon.

I got it on day one, played some of the opening, and died. Then the credits rolled. I laughed my ass off!

Aside from that, I was happy. Sharp graphics, cool music, and crisp gameplay. Can't wait to play more. It might be a while, though....

The fact this game is also on PC will help sales greatly considering all the games you mentioned that would impact sales are not present on PC.

I will play it day one on PC and am very excited about it all previews and reviews I have seen seemed excellent! I would have bought the PS4 version if I had a Pro but since I have a launch console the experience on my PC will just be much better but I would have liked the steelbook for the collection ^^

It's really good. Navigating the world is clunky as the world is not designed that great. That's ok. Rest of the game is fantastic. I do not so far have the emotional investment I did with Nier. Loving the game.

You won't be disappointed ;) the game is brilliant

It already did very well in Japan, so it wont be horrible at the very least.

And Nier got a lot of attention too.So wether it will be a big success or not remains to be seen, but it wont be a failure for sure.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

As someone who just bought both Nioh and Nier these last few days, I doubt you'll be disappointed at all. Obviously the game isn't as beautiful as Horizon, but the combat is great, the world is interesting, and riding moose is a blast. It's another excellent game in this already ridiculous year.

PS - I'm enjoying Nioh a lot too, even though I suck at it and am getting owned by the 2nd boss Onryoki. Not a good sign as to how far I'm going to get in the game, ha.

PS PS - (2b) Booty booty booty, yeah boi

I bought this, but I only get a few hours of gaming in a week, and just started Horizon. I didn't expect all these games to come out that I'd end up wanting. Thought Nioh would flop, and wasn't that interested in Horizon. Now I have Horizon and Nier and would like to get Gravity Rush 2, Nioh, and most likely Mass Effect and Persona when they release. This glut of games is not conducive to having two young kids.

Still waiting on PC reviews, though the game won't be coming out on Steam till the 17th, which is a week away, so I'll likely be waiting till the 22nd for all the reviews on that end and consider if it's worth a buy.
