I bought it for Wii U, but I'll probably double dip if I ever decide to buy a Switch.
Which version of BOTW do you have:
Wii U | 112 | 33.94% | |
Switch | 134 | 40.61% | |
I will get it for Wii U | 21 | 6.36%
I will get it for Switch | 34 | 10.30%
potato | 29 | 8.79% | |
Total: | 330 |

I plan to buy it for the WiiU in the coming weeks :)
The console with the decent controller that doesn't randomly disconnect of course and a library of 1000s of games. That also gives you access to just about all other Zelda games too except the 3DS one's.
WiiU version. I'll get the Switch version later when I get a Switch at some point, but I would get it even if I'd never got a Switch just for collection purposes.
Got it twice for the Switch but i´ll give one copy back.

To be totally honest, I think the WiiU controller and the Switch controller have similar disconnect ranges. I'll have to experiment....

I'm only joking of course, I'll never know even if I get a Switch because I'm not far from my tv, my settee is only about a 4 foot gap to the front of the screen. In fact when I use the 3D mode of the tv I have to make sure my head is to the back of the settee to get the correct 3D effect. I did try a 55" tv in the same place but was too big so had to scale back slightly to 50".
I did see in the tear down there is a design issue with the left Joy-con that is the cause of the problem which no doubt will be rectified very quickly at Foxconn and be sorted for later stock of Switch anyway.

But I wanted to experiment!
I'll just pretend I didn't see this post.
Switch. Don't see reason to buy a game on a console I stopped buying games for over a year ago vs a console with a healthy future, more features, etc.
