Not trying to be THAT person, but they gain the benefit of Sony's amazing brand quality and a huge userbase. 

 

Both great though- i love competition. This is clearly a franchise that'll be loved by Sony fans. Perhaps it's their own spin at Zelda?

 

While Sony and Nintendo are giving us this, I'm still hoping Microsoft does something...

Really, though. A Japanese game from a franchise that has been around for decades outsells a new western-developed IP?

That's kind of like making a "New England Patriots beat the Cleveland Browns!" thread.

Personally, I think Horizon did excellent numbers in Japan. I was surprised to see it top 100k without Sony throwing in some extra bikini outfits for the main character.
