Wow soo horizon is 200k+ that is absolutely amazing!

Doubt it, I would be surprised if Horizon got over 150k.

Looks like the Switch version is beating the Wii U version fairly hard in most markets. Great numbers as well!

So what does the other half do with their Switches?

Play 1 2 Switch.

Or Bomberman. Or DQ Heroes I+II. Or one of the other launch games the West didn't get. The Switches launch in Japan didn't look quite as thin as the one in the West.

For comparison sake, in the post itself of NeoGaf:

Comparison to previous 3D home console Zeldas (source):

N64 The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time First week: 386.234 LTD: 1.143.570 Nintendo 11/21/1998
N64 The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask FW: 314.044 LTD: 601.542 Nintendo 4/27/2000
NGC The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker FW: 287.346 LTD: 742.609 Nintendo 12/13/2002
WII The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword FW: 194.894 LTD: 349.143 Nintendo 11/23/2011
WII The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess FW: 145.068 LTD: 554.109 Nintendo 12/2/2006
NGC The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess FW: N/A LTD: 70.000 Nintendo 12/2/2006

So retail-wise, Breath of the Wild for Switch is the third least-selling 3D Zelda for homeconsoles, though we're missing the digital sales into the equation.

Unsurprisingly the ones at the bottom are launch titles which limits their ability to sell out the gate.

Sell 'em to westerners.

pretty damn good numbers considering Japan can be iffy on Zelda and its a launch week.

bear in mind something like Ocarina of Time came out after the N64 had been out for a few YEARS and thus of course had a much larger launch

Good numbers, considering there are also digital copies sold. Would be great if we got more digital numbers as well.

WINNER...  who wants to mess with game cards?

Milk cows in 1,2 switch

Interesting. So, about 2/3 of consumers on Switch bought it. I wonder how many Wii U owners bought it.
