Combined Zelda should be ahead though there are also two Horizon SKU's, #1 and #14 so it could be pretty close.

I just read 3 and didn't take notice of the 5, assumed it was till the third, even more surprised now.

That Zelda is overcome by a new IP in Japan is a failure for Nintendo, I can not believe that Nintendo did not anticipate that Zelda would sell very well...

  Are you really trying to compare an established console to a just released console? not only that but a game that released in 2 different plataforms and not counting the fact horizon had one day more on sales, if you want to troll you should have arguments other than what you used.

It's true, but we're still talking about a Guerrilla Games game beating a Zelda in Japan. Even with a bigger userbase, it's still surprising and surely not something anyone would have bet some time ago...

 Saying it's surprising is very different than claiming zelda was a failure, especially when there are no numbers, and according to japanese retailers zelda botw is sold out in most places.
