I disagree. Count the grammys and album sales.

Yeah, the Beatles have sold WAY more albums then TSwift, and the grammys are the same amount (which is impressive), though she won some of them for catagories that didnt even exist back when the Beatles made music i.e best song written for visual media.

She still has some impressive stats, but her level of popularity does not match that of The Beatles or even Michael Jackson or even Queen. And no amount of claiming proves otherwise. And by your own statment Beyonce is more popuar then her in both sales and Grammys.

Actually, Beyonce only sold half as many copies as Taylor Swift. (The Beatles sold 3 times as many as Swift.)

Pop legend, yes. Country star, sure.

Rock n roll legend? Lol. No, not at all

A REAL Female Rock & Roll legend

But the GOAT is Freddie Mercury. His vocal cords even been proven by science to be the best. His natural voice was more like Pavarotti but he sang in a higher pitch for his music. His vocal cords were found to mover faster than any known singer. The closest thing we have to Freddie now is Marc Martel who in the reverse of Freddy. His natural voice is more like Freddy but can sing like Pavarotti. As seen here.

I have grown up in the entertainment industry. I have mingled with many stars. I have been in film and TV. My father was an actor and my mom is an award winning singer trained by Seth Riggs. I have personally beena judge of contests. I make Simon look nice. Swift is nothing special. She can sing ok. Her music isn't that great. In fact I find most modern music kinda shit. A lot of technique is abandoned in favor or yelling instead of projecting in a lot of modern music. Music is sometimes louder than the singer. Someone can have a preference all they want but when being objective you have to throw preference out the window. Madonna is a legend. Swift is not. Many artists for a period sold a lot of records but have later fallen to obscurity. You won't find Swift being popular at 60 yeard old like well Madonna or Ella Fitzgerald. With that I am done with one of the biggest joke threads I have seen in a while.

Actually Beyonce has sold more ...
Beyonce has 35 million -https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beyonc%C3%A9_discography
Taylor Swift has just over 33 million - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taylor_Swift_discography

Did you even read the pages you linked?

Meanwhile, US total album sales stand at 29.92 million copies.[12] With estimated sales of over 40 million albums and 130 million singles worldwide, Swift is one of the best-selling music artists

This is the list of best-selling music artists: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_best-selling_music_artists

(I only saw this after I aswered to your post.)

I think you might want to check the dictionary for 'rock and roll' and 'legend'.

Be sure to give feedback on your findings.

I agree with Op, and wholeheartedly look forward to Taylor's upcoming turn from Rock legend to Black Metal mistress.
