I mean damn, is that thing perfect? Solid in the hands with excellent grip and comfort. All of the buttons, sticks and triggers have smooth and satisfied clicks... I absolutely love this controller. 

This is the only way I'll play when docked from now on.

The Joy-Con grip is working fine for me so far. Maybe when the Pro drops to $50 I'll bite.

For those of you that loved the Wii U Pro Controller: Is the Switch Pro Controller better?

Costs wayyy too much for me. I am gonna treat it like a handheld until I play multiplayer games like MK. Which is to say, leaving the joycons attached to the Switch.

I have to say that the standard joy-con grip controller has been a very pleasant surprise for me but maybe in a few years I'll get the pro controller :).

The only thing people seem to complain about it is the lack of analog triggers :P

I wanna get one but it's expensive. Good to hear it's a good controller though. Even better that it can work with PC fine.

I heard the HD rumble on it sucks compaired to the joycons.
It doesnt have analogue triggers right? Dpad isnt fantastic either.

I wouldnt say its a perfect controller.... but its better than useing the joy-cons (unless you need HD rumble).

The D pad is cool. It's not better than the DS4. Still, the Pro controller is absolutely awesome. I had to buy one. My kids wants to play MK8 when it drops. I might have to buy another joy con as well. It's definitely expensive, but worth it in my household. All 3 of my children play on it. I would say the Switch Pro controller is slightly superior to the Wii U's.

No analog triggers? WtF?! I have one, but haven't opened it yet. Been satisfied with the Joy-cons in all 3 form factors, so far. It's like a Veritech Fighter on Robotech, in different modes. 😅

I might have to not open this Pro controller and return it or sell it on ebay, if demand is high.
