When's the UK ever been a strong Nintendo market, i've always been told its weak.
I don't think Nintendo will have another Wii at their hands, it will outsell the WiiU, and if NIN are really smart then they can build on that, if it manages 40M world wide then it's their way to go, I think time is It's biggest enemy, it needs to sell and it needs back up for at least 3-4 years before they release upgraded version from it
Pretty typical launch imo. Heard a few reports about it in the radio. Some people were talking about it at work, lots of consoles sold. Just because people weren't crashing through doors and storming like the beaches at Normandy doesn't mean it was quiet.
Of course for those sitting on the couch in their basement playing Zelda all day, it might seem quiet...

Wonderful, I'm not a fan of scalpers.
I haven't seen a lot of hype online aside from here and a few pages i follow on facebook. I think it needed a couple more games at launch tbh, yes Zelda is a very good, very strong launch title. But i think a Mario aswell would have been the cherry on top.

Im from the UK and went to a midnight launch, I expected a mediocre turnout but was surprised to see 30 plus people queuing. If people bothered checking, Nintendo stated they have manufactured plenty of Switch to cope with demand before it launched. Usually you get complaints of Nintendo restraining supplies, damned if you do damned if you dont i guess.
Wii U 2 confimed?, No I don't think it will be that bad, its a handheld so it should at least sell Wii U numbers in Japan alone, the rest of the world though will be a disaster
I think it was probably a good launch. A lot of the Targets in my area say they have stock, but I went to one near me and they seemed to be sold out, so I can't vouch for the accuracy of the store trackers.
