With that said, let's Switch things up!

Saving this post for future use.

Saving this post, too!

Very positive first impressions, the joycon grip is extremely comfortable, HD rumble should now be industry standard (Fast Rmx is enhanced by this greatly), Zelda is amazing and handheld mode is very natural. My only concern is hoping the joycon are tough enough to withstand use by my children. Oh and 1,2 Switch is fun to play with the kids.

I like it so far. Zelda is fantastic. We tried 1-2 Switch with some booze and had a blast. Bomberman is eactly how I wanted it to be, easy to pick up, lots of fun.

I have to get used to the OS however and the eshop especially. I liked the eshop design from the Wii U a lot more. Oh well.

Loving the JoyCon grip.

I really like it. I love the feel of the system. Zelda is amazing. So far so good.

Well so far Zelda is amazing docked or portable, joycons are decent enough, pro is better, amazed that such a tiny console is so powerful to be honest, although i have noticed some framerate dips on BOTW when docked. No time records for games is a bummer as is no netflix or youtube. Also it feels alittle barebones at the minute. We just need more game snow, this console needs games in the next 6 months to really start aggressively replacing Wii/ds shelving space

1-2 switch is a fun party game. Worth the money as I do use the Nintendo systems at parties I'm glad to have a solid game for playing with friends off the bat.

Joycons are more comfortable in my large hands than I feared, entirely usable in fact.

Zelda took my breath away, as link walks up the hill at the start and you see the plateau Vista I just grinned like an idiot, as good as the n64 games and with a very different playtime to traditional Zeldas.

The whole feel of the switch is one of quality, the only bit I would be concerned about breaking is the Joycon bumpers when sliding on/off

I do have gripes however.

No dual screen - I miss it. As I posted on a previous thread imagine XCX with the frontiernav map in a menu... It was also great for inventory sorting, equipping items etc. (and I can see the BOTW equipment mechanics would have been well suited to this on the U)

And I hope that in time we get a control dock for the Joycons that both charges and has a headphone slot.

But it seems sad to complain about a lack of charging grip in the box when the cons have a 10 hour battery life and it would have pushed the console price up..

Also price gripes.. PS3 was £500 on release, I bought my PS4 after fallouts release for £400... The switch is great value.

Very very positive so far. I was incredibly hyped for the Switch and it has absolutely lived up to that hype. The Joycons are comfortable, the grip makes them a great controller (I was about to buy a Pro Controller, I won't be doing so now). System itself is great too, very fast, the UI on the menus especially is a joy to navigate. I used the Switch on a flight from one side of Australia to the other and it lasted, playing Zelda, for the entire flight (4 hours).

I honestly haven't found anything negative so far. I picked up Snipperclips and Bomberman as well, but have only played 30 minutes of the former and none of the latter.

Thus far it's just meh, nothing out uses the hardware in any new way, and the software that is out isn't all that appealing if you're not a zelda fan.

So, so far, it's just meh
