I'm currently stuck on a mandatory stealth section with save disabled. I hate that, start over from the beginning every time, and the window to sneak by seems impossibly small. Unfortunately it's part of the story, can't skip it. It does give you the opportunity to fight but I don't stand a chance against 2 teleporting uninterruptible 1 hit kill enemies with extreme reach backed up by two also teleporting archers with triple shot bows. Fun times, not. I guess I needed more hearts after all.

So far 40 shrines done, 82 korok seeds, 1 dungeon, 5 towers, 1 memory.

Back to banging my head against this wall the game suddenly conjured up, trying stealth food next. Where is the invisibility cloak or a barrel to hide in...

I know EXACTLY the one you're talking about haha

It had me furious initially too... the bananas barely slow them down. I eventually found a fairly easy to replicate path though, so if you want help, I explain the route I took if you'd like (I did that one room so many times that I can still remember every aspect of it, guards included haha)

Oh also, if you're tempted to go down and grab the gems you see down there don't bother, once you're done with the area you can go back inside and grab them with no enemies around.

I'd also recommend using your rune powers as a radar if you don't want to be there longer than you should because you're dumb and thought there was another room somewhere.

45 shrines, Master Sword, Three Dungeons down, all memories found, need to go to the Death Mountain and then I am going back to hyrule castle. After that I want to complete all shrines/shrine quests.

Also ancient gear makes Guardians a piece of cake. I can also destroy lynels at this point without too much trouble. Any enemies tougher than these?

Just had the battle on top of one particular mountain, that is actually one of my favourite battles in the series.

Sounds like an appropriate time to go bananas.

But I like bananas too, they fall just as easily for conjured up substitutes of just as badly. I made it past but it was poorly made. The camera doesn't work well in tight quarters, Link falling through the rafters, sneak attack missing for no reason, no alternate routes, no checkpoint. Then the fight at the end was laughably easy again. Apart from the charm of the enemies it had no place in this otherwise amazing game.

Afterwards I got distracted agin by exploring the rest of the mountains on the way back, still didn't get to the dungeon lol. I wonder does it give you hints where the remaining shrines are after completing the game? At least a 8/10 found per region or something? I think I located them all in 3 regions so far yet I could still have missed a well hidden plate.

Only 3 towers are missing to fully uncover the map. But I think the game is good but overrated, because after a week I got burned out. I also saw the labyrith entrance yesterday but I didn't bother to enter. And I activated 4 more shrines for teleportation but dindn't enter them because they all feel the same and are not really worth your time if you have sufficient hearts and stamina.

I'm taking a break from the game after 50 hours, 40 shrines, 11 hearts, 4 stamina upgrades, 100 or so Korok seeds spent, 3 scales, 0 dungeons. The fact that main goal now is chasing for the 2nd out of a seemingly endless number of boring memories with horrible voice acting and that the game does not seem to have any story beyond that, gives me no incentive to play any further at the moment.

But I did enjoy the game much more than Skyrim, where I focused solely on exploration without doing any of the boring quests. I also dropped that game after 50 or so hours and did not come back. But in no way BOTW is better than OOT, I even prefer the original Xenoblade Chronicles because a great story is very important to me.

Yeah I had the path down like a series of dance steps in the end. There is just enough randomness in their routines and some weird failure rate in sneak attack (completely missing point blank) that kept screwing me up. I did grab everything on the way through, used the glider to get in the secret area from behind. I thought it was an alternate path but no. Had to make a trail to lead that last guard away while fighting the camera and trying not to slip in between the rafters ugh.

-conquered all towers;
-58 Shrines completed;
-60something korok seeds found (are there really 900 ?);
-3 dungeons completed;
-Lynel defeated two days ago;

I'm currently in the Goron village, I lost A LOT of time to arrive here because I died constantly since I didn't have the proper clothes, now I'm stuck again because a Goron that is key to the plot (supposedly) is stuck in a cave on a cliff and I have no idea how to set him free, I've tried with bombs, magnesis, stasis, arrows of all sorts but the damn red rocks are still there, can anyone give me a hint ?

How do you all know your hours played? Does it tell you somewhere or are you all just guessing. I love to know how long I've spent with each game

Does the bolded mean you haven't completed any dungeons?

Uhm, that is where the meat of the story is and the "AAA moments" you have been seeking. Don't expect anything amazing, but very few LoZ games have amazing stories.

I'm not sure how to hint without giving it away... Just take a look around that area and see if there's anything that seems designed to explode shit lol, they're unique to that area.
