The reason I didn't buy a PS VIta was because of the analog thumb sticks. So if the Switch is any thing like those I will wait to see if Nintendo bring out different joy-cons with circle pads instead or a home console Switch version with a full sized conroller.

If you like circle pads like me you would probably like the analog sticks.

I still see modular controller design as smart engineering. It hasn't been implemented that well in other smart devices.

Why the fuck do companies insist on charging the same for digital as they do for physical?, there is no physical media to make, no boxes to ship, no logistics, no shipping manifests and no manuals to print, so why in the shit do companies still feel like they should charge the exact same for digital-only titles as they do for physical? digital games should launch at, *AT LEAST* $5 less than their physical retail counterpart.

It's so they don't piss off retail shops by undercutting them... BotW is 70€ in the eShop!!!

Where do you live.? I payed 57 euros for mine at mediamarkt

Talking about the digital price, go to the eShop and see that price.

MediaMarkt had it at 55 in the Netherlands, but I got it for 51 at amazon.fr

Zelda always gets a price boost. But good price for 1-2-Switch, that one was 50 everywhere I looked...

Yeah I'll have to try it first, not sure how long it will be till retailers here have demo Switch units.

If the Switch doesn't have the feel of the 3DS circle pads, then that's the death knell to Switch!

Zelda is for Kids.... can't see Stephen Hawking playing it and not just because he's a cripple.

Zelda is a game, games are for everyone.

Angry Birds is a game, games are for everyone.

Lets just cut to the chase and say good games.  Are there good smartphone/tablet games?  I'm sure but most of them are shit and Nintendo B teams can make way better games than most studios like Rovio, King, or any other one hit developer on android/ios.

So android iOS good vs shit ratio is about the same as the wii then? Still, smartphones and tablets ARE perfectly viable gaming devices, I didn't see people saying otherwise when celebrating the success of Pokémon go and Mario run.

So you are counting third party shovelware I assume.  Nintendo shits out shovelware but you can't blame them for third party shovelware.  I was comparing Nintendo gaming studio to overvaluated shitty game app developers.  I can name a decent amount of Nintedo published eshop games that are way better than most games found on ios/android.  I'm glad they had some success with Pokemon Go and Mario Run but I don't regard those games of having any quality.  Hell, I probably think Rusty's Real Deal Baseball is way better than Mario Run or Pokemon Go.  Anyways, it is all subjective.  What might be shit to one person could be the best thing in the world to another.  However, I view the ios/andriod stores with an Atari 2600 light to it.  Some gems but a lot of shit.
