Forums - PC Discussion - Square Enix released the PC tech test video for Final Fantasy XV, running on an NVIDIA GTX1080Ti

As we reported yesterday, Square Enix showcased a PC tech test video for Final Fantasy XV at GDC 2017. And today, the big publisher released that video to the public. As we’ve already said, this isn’t a confirmation of Final Fantasy XV coming to the PC but… well… we all know that it’s coming.

For this tech test demo, Square Enix collaborated very closely with the NVIDIA GameWorks team, and was captured on a single NVIDIA GeForce GTX1080Ti

Enjoy!

The clip with the 1080ti is near the end, though I'll be waiting to see more clips of them showing off their work with Nvidia before I vest more interest in what they might have to offer. I'd love to see more features that they could toss in with the PC version, I know SE are quite awful when it coems to marketing their PC versions, but it would be nice if they jointly marketing it with Nvidia doing their own as well, specially since SE seem keen on showing off what they can do with higher end hardware.

It would be epic if they could make it free with the purchase of a 1080Ti/1080/1070

I was just thinking that a while ago. I can see nvidia marketing the hell out of the game when they eventually release it on Steam, though SE will probably drop a single tweet and call it a day lol.

Would definitely look nice at 4k with some Sweetfx tossed in i'd say.

It will come anyway, hopefully as a complete version after all upcoming DLC's are released.

Man, it's really happening! I wonder how long we'll have to wait. I get the feeling I'm not going to have enough money to buy it this year at all.

Thanks to the 1080TI it seems 4k gaming on a single gpu is no longer a meme.

I wonder how many of these features the PS4 PRO and Scorpio will be avle to handle at 1080p.

The engine is truly flgorgeous and scalable, I hope they Hold onto it for mainline FF and future titles. I understand KH3 and FfVIIR had impendimg deadlines so UE4 made more sense.
