Forums - Sony Discussion - Your GT5:P setup (And things to improve for GT5)

Had the game since last nightand at the moment I'm racing around in a Nissan GT-R 07, whats everyone else driving? I'm also quite partial to the cockpit view at the moment, I do like the unique dashboards for each car.

Also, anybody have any things they hope are improved for the real GT5? I'm not talking obvious things like more tracks, but for example, I HATE the penalty system at the moment, its beyond broken. You get hit, its your penalty, knocked off, your penalty. I seriously hope it gets fixed.

Im on A now, but theres quite a lot of unique cars for the events, plus the onlyamerican car I have is a mustang and it gets wasted in the muscle events so Im grinding on one of the class B events, 3 laps around the speedway for 12,500, best thing ive found so far.

Btw with improvements. I WANT BIG BLACK TIRE MARKS WHERE IM SPINNIN THE WHEELS!

I never understand why people grind events for cash? IGN did this too and it affected their review score. The whole point is to use the online races to make the extra money you need. I'm positive that the fact that there aren't nearly enough events to get all the money you need (especially since you can't sell cars you have won) is there to encourage people to play online. That's how I've paid for the expensive cars I have. Going online to get money is something I definitely don't want to see in GT5 proper, but it's a fun idea for the Prologue.

Well, dont I feel silly, I didnt even know you could get money online :P Maybe because ive tried to get on once and sat waiting for 5 minutes and nothing happened...Online needs tweaking too.

Not very far into it. Won all races but K Class in C. What car is good for K Class (is it K class?)?

Improve? More cars, more tracks...game seem brilliant already. Oh, Top Gear test track. But those are all given.

I've yet to go online, my net connection currently isn't reliable enough. But I'll have a go in time.

Hmm, pie.

...I dont think ill ever drive online again. 1st place, 3 people smack into me and apparantly being thrown off the track consitutes a short cut. Yay for last place.
