All The Xbox Game Pass Titles (So Far)

Xbox Game Pass launches this Spring.

Microsoft announced a new Xbox One subscription today, Xbox Game Pass. For $10/month, subscribers can play more than 100 Xbox One and Xbox 360 games (via backwards compatibility) as much as they want for as long as the title is available. The catalog will be refreshed on a monthly basis as games are added and others removed.

Microsoft has not yet announced the full lineup of games to start, though we do know about a handful of them. We've rounded those up here and will update this post with more as they are announced ahead of launch this Spring.

Xbox Game Pass is currently available for people in the Xbox Insider Program for testing (with a limited selection of titles) before its public rollout.

Microsoft says it aims to stock the Xbox Game Pass library with titles across a number of popular genres, including action, adventure, shooter, puzzle, strategy, and RPG.

  • Fable III
  • Gears of War: Ultimate Edition
  • Halo 5: Guardians
  • Lego Batman
  • Mad Max
  • Mega Man Legacy Collection
  • NBA 2K16
  • Payday 2
  • Saints Row IV Re-Elected
  • SoulCalibur II

Getting this for my daughter. I'll never have to buy her a game, again!

Wait. I'm an Xbox Insider! I didn't even know about this. Awesome. Should do big business for Xbox. Personally, I have so many consoles and so many games, I don't have time for games I don't pick out myself. I'm still excited for the service, though. I'll test it when I get home.

This sounds really cool actually. Might have to look into this.

A lot of these have appeared on GWG, right?

My question is this: is it worth paying $120 a year for these games instead of just paying $60 for the four free games a month? Especially as I'll need to pay the $60 anyway to play these games online?

It's hard to say. With the few games listed.... Absolutely not. When it gets released to the public and there are 100 games on there... Possibly.

I don't think any of them have been gwg games.

Edit: Yeah Fable 3 was a gwg offering way back.

Out of the 10 listed, I only see one (Fable)or two that was a GWG title. At least, as far as I know.

Microsoft is doing great work, stuff like this along with BC for Xbox One really tempts me to pick up an Xbox sometimes. Great features.

When I pick up my scorpio this is going to be a great service for a few months, play all the games I missed :D

Very good value & job by microsoft finding that magic price. I am very happy we are seeing this. I think EA Access has also proven there is an audience for this and people are generally quite happy with EA Access so I expect this to be no different since its on download-base

And here's another caveat:

"The catalog will be refreshed on a monthly basis as games are added and others removed."

I'd rather spend $120 on 6 $20 games through out the year that I know I'd want to keep.

So basically check the list and see what you want to play and if it is worth the 10 bucks. I mean if you only want to play a few games the 10 bucks is worth it.
