Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Introducing Xbox Game Pass: Unlimited Access to More Than 100 Games

Let see Xbox game pass: Access to 100 great xbox exclusives.

Nah just kidding. Anway, If I was in highschool (or just out of highschool) I could  use something like this. Unfortunately my work schedule and current crop of great new games has barred me from being able to enjoy a lot of the old games that i've missed. About to finish Final Fantasy XV and getting on Nioh and Horizon before Mass Effect drops. Good price though.

So, at the risk of turning this into a console war, I must ask the question.

Who's winning?

-Sony and their 3rd parties are pumping out great exclusive games left and right.
-Nintendo is launching brand new and exciting hardware.
-Microsoft is about to offer what could be the best value in gaming.

It's a rhetorical question. Don't answer that. But wow. I can't remember being this excited about all three big companies at once!

Now that Microsoft has introduced this new venture, they should be able to compete with EA Access now. Maybe since Microsoft has done this, Sony might be influenced to allow EA access to come to PSN because they didnt want a competing access program on their platform. At this juncture it could work all around for everyone without issues. No more early exclusive trials for anyone. :)

This service actually looks pretty good.. definitely will be keeping my eye on this with the Windows 10 compatibilty

That sounds really cool. Especially if the $10/month can be paid monthly and doesn't force you to pay for a full year in advance.
Does anyone know?

I've only seen the monthly price. I'm guessing monthly is the only way you can pay it for now.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

It shoud be slightly higher or on par with  the Xbox Live price at a discount for the whole year if they want to make this work. Its $10 a month for Xbox Live.

Cool. I like it more than PS Now. For the right customer, that's pretty nice. I would still greet a similar service on PS platforms with apathy. That's just me though.

It doesnt help that those games have to be streamed on PSN.

I prefer physical releases, but damn if they put the right releases on this I may find myself playing games I may have otherwise passed on. This is big, and a huge move for MS.
