WiiU version better work well, Nintendo! Patch it afterwards, do what you have to.

Either that or I'm emulating if that's what it takes to fix any potential issues.

Honestly, I've just watched the Wii U version gameplay online, and it run just fine, sure some drops here and there, as normal as most games have from time to time, but nothing serious to say is a slideshow every time you play. I'm glad about it honestly, because it's the version I'm getting for the moment, i'll eventually pick up a switch when Xenoblade 2 and Mario Odyssey release.

It only makes sense that if you buy the game on a much more inferior console it'll be at least somewhat inferior. Then again, it seems your source may be off considering the multiple replies in this thread saying the opposite.

"Playable" is like "edible". A lot of things are edible. A lot of those things also make people sick

Shouldn't we strive for a bit more than just "edible"? How about "tasty" or "healthy" or both?

Well if these guys are like you then the game dropping to 29fps probably is catastrophical to them.

Yes, but she doesn't mean playable as "OoT was playable at 15fps dude" judge it for yourself

Looks playable in the good sense of the word

Nah. It's already catastrophic when it's locked to 30. Dropping even lower is just the cherry on top and shows that devs and console makers don't give a shit about gameplay. And why would they when the majority of gamers do care about pixels a lot more just because they never had the chance to experience smooth gameplay in the first place.

Then dont buy any consoles. If nobody thats make games on them cares about gameplay.

From the Edge review thread we had a few days ago, this is what they said about the WiiU's framerate:

"Frame rate is a little uneven on the Wii U version, dropping to teens in very busy sequences like heavy weather effects, rarely when it matters"

I'm confident it will be good enough for those of us who will play it on that machine.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Poor WiiU, never had a chance, like a innocent on death row he sits, day and night, waiting for his unfair ending. Looking at the wall, forgoten, trying not to think...
