It's most likely going to be taken down shortly. But until then, this is the best representation of the Wii U's final build of the game we can get.

"Playable" is different for each.  Another review did make a point of saying the Wii U version *was* inferior but still playable. 

But playable or not, yes, the fact that the Switch even in handheld mode outperforms the Wii U version is a very good look for the Switch. 

But that's no different than the numerous performance issues in The Last of Us on PS3 ultimately proved very good for the PS4 version of the game as it was very often pointed out how big of a jump it was from one version of an amazing game to another version of an amazing game.  This isn't news for a crossgen game :P

I'm jus saying, "incredible advertising for switch version" sounds like an exaggeration. I saw gameplay and by playable I mean playable, not a technical mess. Yeah of course the switch version is better but when you read stuff like this you would think that the wii u version is an unplayable slide show.

I'm gonna double dip.

Would've been nice if the Wii U version was 49.99 or 54.99, but oh well. Gonna be nice playing it with a pro controller

I don't know, I played the Wii U version for...I think 45 minutes back at E3, and the game ran well enough. I admit, I don't have the best eye when it comes to frame rate hitches, but even I can notice significant frame rate issues. Game ran fine when a big rock monster attacked me. Game ran fine when I tried (and failed) to attack a moblin encampment. Game ran fine when I climbed that big tower.

Now, I can't vouch for anyone who's obsessed with frame rate drops, or can't stand a game that fluctuates at and below 30. But as near as I could tell, the game ran fine throughout my play session, and any frame rate hitches I encountered weren't notable enough for me to remember.

Of course, I guess it's totally possible that the game will run more poorly in areas more graphically intensive than the opening area.

Well I have been watching the footage Hynad posted for a while and it seems to be running fine and it looks beautiful, dunno how is this an incredible advertising for Switch, maybe if you have been playing the Switch version for hours and then change to WiiU the difference is more notable but I'm not seeing a big one right now.

exactly, keep in mind that footage was a stream and then posted on youtube, so the compression is gigantic.
