this is the normal battle music, I don't know if I like it or not, yet. But sounds like a mess of instruments and sounds.

ocarina still winning in this regard.

It sounds like a scene from a sitcom where the guy has to do something mundane and they add dramatic music to it...

I just hope that there is more than one combat music. Would be nice if the music changed depending on weather and location..

yeah I agree, the Ocarina track sounds better. Simplicity is sometimes best, it's understated too whereas the BotW sounds like too much going on at once

Not a mess, but overall definitely inferior to OoT. On the bright side, the music works very well with the game

I'm pretty sure music changes overall based on region. As for combat, I'm not too sure. We will probably have to wait and see

To have the same combat music everytime you fight is kind of stupid. Always hated that in games...

I think the worst was Xenoblade X. What a nightmare that fighting song was. Having someone singing made it a lot worse..

yeah there is more, I heard one battle theme that is epic but it's a spoiler. 

Just because it has a lot of instruments doesn't mean is a mess.
Personally I like it a lot,, the violin parts are really well done, the percussion has good rhythm to it.
Just because is complex doesn't mean is a mess or bad. Is not a catchy song that's for sure. Think of it like pop music; pop is catchy and popular because is simple, easy to remember; but classic music is more complex with more instrument so is more difficult to appreciate.
That said this is not a masterpiece, but is definitely a very good tune.
