Oh no, that's not a female Link in my profile picture if that's what you're referring to. That's official artwork of princess Zelda in BotW. She's absolutely stunning in this game and I kind of get the design change, and quite frankly I love it! I've been stating for a while that the Tunic color change was for story reasons, which apparently was officially confirmed today http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=226263&page=1#5
I basically photoshoped the picture below to a background from the game. I also made a two other modifications that are quite hard to find in order to compensate the design change and the blue clothing that can be found in the game. This game (and series in general) uses some pretty heavy symbolism. Something that hasn't been discussed yet here on VGchartz... surprisingly given the games popularity. Though it's fitting with the blue color as well as some of the stuff with the Sheika in this game. I'm also thinking the 7 Sages will be back as well. They have to be, it's part of the mythology and symbolism they are using.
