 I guess that's true but a comedy won in 2015 and also in 2012 (Birdman and The Artist)

Hm.... you are right. Birdman was one of the very few movies I watched in the past years and it was pretty good. Though I didn't really take it as a comedy.

As expected, lots of political voting at the Oscars.



Wow what a night! I wanted La La Land to win Best Picture and it feels weird that it didn't. I haven't seen Moonlight yet though so I can't say if it deserved to win or not.

Regardless this was one of the best Oscar telecasts in a long time. Justin Timberlake had a great opening performance. Jimmy Kimmel was funny without being mean (except to Matt Damon) and that twist ending will live on in infamy.
