Oh my GOD! they completely fucked up, everyone thought La La Land won, they read it wrong and the team was already ready to get the Oscar and suddenly it was all a mistake :O

MOONLIGHT won

Around the Network

That's terrible for the La La Land people rofl

Well, I'm happy for Moonlight, it was a great movie, not my favourite but still on my top 5 of 2016.

Also very glad that Manchester By The Sea got best original screenplay and best main actor, that movie really got me.

Not so happy about the lack of Oscar for Best Cinematography and Best Director for Arrival, but oh well, it already had 8 nominations which is rare for a movie of its genre.

La la land has zero appeal outside of fans of musicals.

Its pretty much a film about two really good looking white actors going through 'adversity' to get what they want .

Im sorry, but thats like saying Moonlight has no appeal outside of gay black men, your argument is basic.

Also just to add to that, never seen so much backlash to such a good natured film. I dont recall any of this race baiting when The Artist won best picture, a film that similarly honors the history of Hollywood. I think Americans have a lot of issues they need to sort out.

I personally wasnt a big fan of LaLa Land, its a good film, I wished Moonlight, Arrival or Manchester by the Sea had won more cause they were better.  Emma Stone winning the best actress award tho is weird cause I dont think she was that good, but at the same time I dont feel that category had tough competition.

EDIT: OMFG. LOL at the end. Steve Harvey must be enjoying himself right now.

It actually had, Natalie Portman was brilliant in Jackie, better than Emma imo.

Well La La Land will be remembered for something now lol

Welp, Steve Harvey is going to be forgotten real soon. Wow, totally screwed that one up/

La la land is a point less film.

Art can be pointless, in fact you could say most movies are pointless.
