Switch looses by around 20k to 3DS this week. While 38k isn't a horrible week for Switch supply comparatively I really hope we start to see 50k+ weeks and rising towards Marios launch from next week onwards.

I think that after SMO releases and until he end of the year, sales will probably stay above 50k - unless Europe and US want too many consoles then

Switch basically keeping up with the 3DS is impressive, and its probably going to pass it soon.

Asking for DS levels of sales in japan is insane.

There is 1 3ds for every 5 people in japan. Thats insane, esp. Givin the fact that its still matching the ps4 in sales.

If we go up to DS that jumps to 1 in 3...

3DS gonna be brutal, from now on... Nintendo better have some GREAT stock ready for SMO.

I'd expect to be close or above 100k units every week from the release of Odyssey till the end of the year, and December should have 1 or 2 weeks with 200k. I think 3DS did that during its first holiday (in contrast, it had both Mario Kart 7 and 3D Land).



Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

I'm hoping for a 200k-ish week for SMO at least. I'm also hoping for some more 100k+ weeks around christmas. They gave FE Warriors an 80k boost, they should have at least double that ready for SMO, realistically.
