Yeh Kinect for voice commands is pretty awesome depending on what you are using it for such as videos and music.

It's a shame that Microsoft didn't retain a Microphone built into the front with the Xbox One S to retain voice commands. It really is an awesome feature... And one of the few long-lasting appeals of Kinect.

It really isn't, though. The 360's functionality is more efficient and many, many games are not on the X1 from the platform.

The fact that the Xbox One cannot play original Xbox games ensures that it isn't the best Xbox platform.

The Xbox 360 however, can... And thanks to the Xbox 360 having a full HD HDMI interface with a decent scaler... It can make original Xbox games look the best as they possibly can on large displays.

The new king of "I know who made that thread before I opened it." It's a fine console. Haven't ever used one, but I can still safely say that, knowing what games it has, ect.

Sadly. He never seems to participate in the threads he makes either. :/

Yes indeed the kinect died in a similar fashion the wii motion controlls did. Nobody cares for these features any more. MS should have retained the voice controll feature with One S and perhaps utilised a cortana feature for this at least.

Considering the XB1 is a 360 makes for no debate.

It plays a lot of 360's games but it ain't no 360.

it probably the best console for some gamers but to me, xb360 is better.

If they had the list of BC games on launch it would make sense. Moreover many good last gen games have got the 1080P treatment this gen which makes their BC kinda irrelevant but nonetheless for people who want to try out older games that was not remastered and is in their BC list it is a nice feature.

No one says that, Mike.

Some people do actually, just don't take their opinion too seriously

Well, now we're just being liberal with the definition of "people"... ;)

It's definitely a good system, but I think the library is most concerning for me compared to previous Xboxes. While I absolutely think the XB1 has far better interfaces and features (I'm including things like media controls, UI, and especially the controllers), I think a major problem for the XB1's future is the lack of exclusive single-player experiences. So far, they've been kind of weak in my opinion, and they're probably going to grow fewer and far between as it looks more and more like persistent online/multiplayer experiences are going to be their bread and butter. The 360 on the other hand had some excellent single player output that I don't think we'll ever see again in the near future.

Off-topic: A slight nitpick I have with Cortana on Xbox is you need to say "Hey Cortana." The problem? Whenever I do, my laptop, Surface and phone all perk up their ears waiting for voice commands. Give me the robust Cortana voice commands but activate using "Xbox" again :/
