Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Why the Xbox One IS the Best Xbox Console of all Time

360 was better.

Around the Network

I agree. I absoltuly love the Xbox One. It is the real successor to PS3 in my opinion, and that was by far my favorite console of last gen. Although, Xbox One does not have a whole lot of games I am interested in, I am really looking forward to getting the Scorpio this year, mainly because of how good the overall machine and OS are.

In many ways the XBO launch event spoke to me more than the PS4 launch. I liked Kinect in every box, I liked the idea of being able to share my library with 10 people, I liked the idea of Xbox being the hub of my digital life. These are all things I hope both XBO and PS4 can eventually become.

I have said it before, and I will say it again, I think both XBO and PS4 will be the best selling, and by far the best consoles Sony and Microsoft have ever released. I expect the XBO ecosystem/platform to eventually reach 100M+ users. It is just to good of a balue for people that are already in the Surface and Windows ecosystem. If you are using Surface and PC, why not have an XBO hooked to your TV to carry on any with any application?

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

Then why are they being outsold in their home country despite spending more on marketing?

Either way I disagree. In my opinion, x1 can't be by virtue of the fact that it's sorely lacking on one of they key pillars that every console had before it - exclusives. The only game you have to buy an Xbox for is halo 5. Which has forge and 16 player multiplayer on PC anyway. Every other "exclusive" they have can be had on PC except Kinect exclusives. As it stands, buying into the Xbox ecosystem right now means you are paying for an underpowered PC that has almost none of the PC benefits.

So, no, and there's not really much evidence backing up your title. Even feature wise there isn't really much of an advantage Xbox has over ps4.

I think Microsoft had it best with the OG xbox

I agree with the consensus that the 360 is the best XBox. I have all of the Xbox's and I still play them all. 360 definitely was the best in a lot of regards.

Not only does Xbox One have a solid lineup but mostly all the GOOD games from Xbox 360 run great on Xbox one via backwards compatibility.

Xbox One is a much quieter console and the remote is much better than the remote from the 360 (especially the xbox one s remote)

Xbox One also has more features on the dashboard and better apps.

I will add more!

There are 1182 games available for the xbox 360

 1055 available on xbox one

By the time the xbox one is the same age of the xbox 360 it is likely to have 3000+ games at this rate

Too bad you didn't bother to check past the first Wiki link. The X360 has :

- 1,182 Physically released games (107 exclusives, 80 console exclusives)

- 719 Xbox Live Games

That's 1901 games total.

The 1055 (34 exclusives, 124 console exclusives) for X1 is Physical and XLive combined. Which represents 55.5% of X360's library.

Nice try, but try again.

Also, let's have some fun since you put me on that path. Let's see the case of the PS3:

1433 Physically released games for PS3 (312 exclusives, 124 console exclusives)

809 games on the PSN.

That's 2242 games.

As for the PS4 :

1338 games (109 exclusives, 381 console exclusives, 41 timed exclusives) which represents 59.68% of the PS3's library.

EDIT: The PS2 shits on all of them anyway, 2501 games, heh.

For a player that is new to the XBox universe, the XBO is likely the best choice for this generation, simply because of all the 360 games you get included with an XBO. You also get 4 games each month, all playable on one system which makes it easier for new players.

Yeah, because people buy new consoles to play the same game from last gen.

X360 was so ahead of it's time.

best console ever :)

I only use xbone to playGTA V with my friends online; it has a shit ton of dust

Well, if it's someone totally new to Xbox, it's not really the same game from last gen, now is it? :).
