Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Why the Xbox One IS the Best Xbox Console of all Time

Must have misread the OP or something.

Okay, for its time, I think the Xbox 360 is the best console ever. EVER! XBO is the most feature filled right now, bar none. The original 2001  Xbox, I've never owned.

I think the 360 is better.

how can you be the best when you have like five exclusives?

Xbox One isn't a garbage console; it really isn't. I just think Sony and Nintendo release more desirable games. Xbox however is a very solid console with good third party support and a lot of features to it (like the 4k player)

I think a better title would be "Why the X1 is the Xbox console so far". I mean, "of all time" makes it sound like it's been around for a lot longer than it hasn been lol.

PC GAMING: BEST GAMES. WORST CONTROLS

A mouse & keyboard are made for sending email and typing internet badassery. Not for playing video games!!!

That's not really true anymore. It was when it was released but then they removed Kinect, which was essential to the experience.

I still use Kinect almost every day (I have 3 XBO consoles and two Kinects. One of them on an XBO S)

PS4 (and Pro--which I also got on launch day) have come a long way. My most wanted feature was external HDD support which is coming soon. I actually used Shareplay for the first time when I got RE7 and I was really impressed. I'm a huge fan of PSVR, too. I still stand by my original stratement.

I'm a member of Xbox Insider (Preview program) and I have access to the latest dashboard. The extra bells and whistles are less significant than ever before but XBO is still slightly ahead.

*Edit* what the hell was I going on about?

Yeh Kinect for voice commands is pretty awesome depending on what you are using it for such as videos and music.

Xbox 360 and Xbox One

I dont have one yet but I think it might be.
With the Backwards compatability and the fact it just runs old games with higher framerates and most games benefit from this its an easy choice.

Also its proberbly the best media center console ever with the xbox one s being as silent as it is and having so much functionallity trough apps and being able to run pretty much every format trough VLC.

I would have picked one up if the scorpio was not on its way its truely a nice hardware for playing old and new games and using its entertainment- features. If it didnt have backwards compatibility the xbox360 library would be better then the ps4 and xbox one to date.

The new king of "I know who made that thread before I opened it." It's a fine console. Haven't ever used one, but I can still safely say that, knowing what games it has, ect.

Sorry, but it's not. I like my XOne, but 360 was better. All last generation was better, actually. Wii is insanely better than Wii U. PS3 was not that good of a console, but has better games than PS4.

Geralt, I really can hear all your posts in Trump's voice. Don't know if you make this on purpose, like using the same kind of vocabulary, or it's just because of the iconic photo. Although, different from Trump, I tend to not agree with you in everything.

Backwards compatibility doesn't mean much to me because I always keep my old consoles. The xbone is such a downgrade to me in every way. My experience has been less than stellar. I own Six games for my xbone and they are all exclusives. Yes the reliability is better on the xbone than 360 but I still have issues. Most times I have to put the disc in multiple times to get it to work. The 360 controller is just as good as good if not better than xbones. I don't like the dpad or bumpers on the xbone. The dashboard/UI is such garbage. I don't want to compare it to ps4 because it will be a blood bath (except ps4 controller battery is trash). Number of physical games I own on 8th gen consoles. PS4-67, wii U-20 and XBONE- 6. It's last in 8th gen to me by far because the other two consoles have better exclusives and why buy Multiplats on the Bone when I can on ps4.

Dunno.  Maybe you were distracted by a draft.  Have you found your pants, yet?

From an objective "I don't like Xbox" standpoint, no. It just simply isn't.

That honor goes to the 360.
