Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Why the Xbox One IS the Best Xbox Console of all Time

Not only does Xbox One have a solid lineup but mostly all the GOOD games from Xbox 360 run great on Xbox one via backwards compatibility.

Xbox One is a much quieter console and the remote is much better than the remote from the 360 (especially the xbox one s remote)

Xbox One also has more features on the dashboard and better apps.

I will add more!

There are 1182 games available for the xbox 360

 1055 available on xbox one

By the time the xbox one is the same age of the xbox 360 it is likely to have 3000+ games at this rate

Totally disagree on this one. I hated my xbox one. Loved the original xbox and 360 though. It's all a matter of opinions of course.

Might be lacking in exclusive games and overall power but when it comes to features, it's second to none.

That's not really true anymore. It was when it was released but then they removed Kinect, which was essential to the experience.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I must agree president. This one does not rrod once a year has passed.

No... The Xbox 360 list you used from Wikipedia includes RETAIL titles only, wheras the XBO list contains all games including games that aren't even released yet.

Let's just use the figures from Microsofts Store shall we?

 Xbox 360 Full Games: 1206

Xbox 360 Arcade Games: 630

Xbox 360 All Games: 1836

XBO All Games: 972

360 also had 3398 Indie Games but they're almost all terrible so let's not include them.

I still use Kinect almost every day (I have 3 XBO consoles and two Kinects. One of them on an XBO S)

PS4 (and Pro--which I also got on launch day) have come a long way. My most wanted feature was external HDD support which is coming soon. I actually used Shareplay for the first time when I got RE7 and I was really impressed. I'm a huge fan of PSVR, too. I still stand by my original stratement.

I'm a member of Xbox Insider (Preview program) and I have access to the latest dashboard. The extra bells and whistles are less significant than ever before but XBO is still slightly ahead.

*Edit* what the hell was I going on about?

For a player that is new to the XBox universe, the XBO is likely the best choice for this generation, simply because of all the 360 games you get included with an XBO. You also get 4 games each month, all playable on one system which makes it easier for new players.

Nah, 360 is the far better console.

Time to add a pool. My money is on:

360 >> XB1 > XBox
