Has anyone replaced the sticks on their gamepad?

Around the Network

Yeah, I've seen how to do it, was just curious if anyone on here has done it personally.

My right stick use to fidgit up when I wouldn't even touch it, now it sounds like something is rattling in there and the stick gets stuck when pushed up, it stills works fine though including R3 button (probably even better now, cause it doesn't fidgit.)

For some reason, the R3 button on my WiiU quit working during Splatoon a while back. My only option was sending it to Nintendo. Before I did, it started working again. I think you're going to have to send it in.

Yeah. After refusing to pay another $120 warranty for Nintendo to do it again. It's very easy to do. You will need a small eye glass skrew driver and a Nintendo Y tool. The parts for the analogs are cheep.

These come with the mother board cables that are removable. Cheeper ones don't and some analogs have them saudered in.

The Y tool is also cheep.

You can get a cheeper one from China if you are willing to wait longer.

Here is a YouTube video of how to easily do it.
