The problem here is your I TOLD YOU at the beggining of this trhead now looks bad and you are desperate to find the problems with this even when they are so minimal they are laughable, I'm not gonna keep following this game sorry.

I'm just gon link this comment if you ever complain abt day1 patch. Trust me, there are plenty of ppl out there hate day1 patch

I have never complained about it, so ok.

I can see how I could be mad about a game having a day one 10GB patch, but for this? Absurd.

Complaining abt console not having this on launc is absurd? I guess i've seen it all

The features inaccessible include:

  • Linking Nintendo Account to your profile
  • Adding friends
  • Receiving News
  • Accessing eShop
  • Posting screenshots on social media
  • Sending/Receiving Miis
  • Software Updates
  • Connecting My Nintendo Rewards Program

The system update doesn’t just hinder online services, but also your ability to use a Micro SD card. During our preview impressions, we have not been able to add the SD card, limiting our memory storage to 25.9 GB

Moving the goalpost now, brilliant, I'm done with you.

A mod needs to edit the thread title if the OP won't.

While I'm sure Nintendo focused on the features/functionality it felt were required for a launch, a basic browser that would allow this type of functionality should have been relatively inexpensive to implement (not like it required a ground-up build) and push out.

It won't impact me as I will just use my phone hotspot if needed, but it is a poor implementation.

However, I would point out that all of this is subjective and we don't yet know what will come with the day 1 patch. Honestly, it is something we should know as Nintendo should have provided all this information already.

... and there it is, day 1 patch fixes it.

Needs a Day 1 update. This would be a pretty big failure for a console that's supposed to be portable. Most Wi-Fi hot spots require a web browser. Shouldn't be too hard to fix though.

Okay now that this is officially a non-issue, we can move on to addressing the other features that will be missing at launch. Namely no Virtual Console and no Netflix.

Because I'm buying a new console at launch to play old games and watch reruns of "The Office". ;)

But if they provide a browser the system will get hacked and pirated, like 3DS and Wii-U before.

Isn't this being added with the Day 1 update? Not really much of an issue then.
