Your next portable folks! ;p

It was already given with 3-6 hours, as for 3DS. And I'm not happy with 3DS battery life. I was happy with DS battery life. But 3DS still sells well as a handheld.

10 years greatest game event!

Is there a significant difference with the 3DS battery life? I think that 3 hours is fine for more demanding games. I plan to buy a portable battery in the future, just in case.

Zelda is probably one of the most demanding game Switch will receive. And it was at default lighting.

Considering its a launch title you should hope not.  You expect games in a few years to be more advanced then launch Titles.

OT: that seems really short

I can play smash 4 for almost 5hours on my n3ds XL, and it's almost 2 years old. 2 hours difference is huge for a handheld

Just don't play it for 3 hours straight. It's unhealthy.

According to who? Seven hours straight for me during the day. Weekends a hell of a lot longer.

Yes, i have no life, lol.

This means little without other kind of comparisons though, like, how much it last with medium bright and medium volume? How much wothout volume and no bright? How much is this compared to games like FAST RMX, Shovel Knight or Mario Oddissey? Open world games tend to last less than 2 hours on my laptop

Really? I remember playing Smash4 on my way home from the college, which is a 3 and a half hours trip, and the 3DS didn't reach home alive XD. Unless there's a massive improvement in battery life from 3DS to the N3DS, which can explain the difference. Either way, I don't usually game more than 1,2 hours on a trip without feeling dizzy, so battery life suits me. I can understand the criticism though.

There is a massive improvement, on an original 3ds many games are around 3-4 hours, same as PSVita where Uncharted lasts about 3.3 hours
