Do you know a site which shows us the numbers of preoders for switch and zelda?

Gamestop released a statement saying 500000 Switches had been preordered through them and they had a 250000 waiting list.
They have also recently recieved a surprise shipment and opened pre-orders again. This might indicate Nintendo shipping more than the intended 2m for launch, as the next shipment was originally supposed to be in april.
This is one retailer in the US and as far as I'm aware the only official numbers we have.

Gamestop isnt just in the US is it? I mean plenty of EU countries have some, where you can also pre order.

Regardless of the number, I doubt Nintendo will be able to meet demand, so the number won't be true to what the market is willing to pre-order right now, because many hundreds of thousands/millions of people aren't even able to pre-order right now.

Gamestop exist in the UK, but they're insignificantly small when it comes to the games market there. I'd assume the same is largely true for mainland Europe too.

And @OP VGC has preorder numbers for Zelda in the US at least. I mean, the preorder numbers are by far the least trustworthy numbers that VGC has, but they do exist... http://www.vgchartz.com/preorders/42764/USA/

Seeing how they put the NS preorders at 25000 I think it's a deserved mistrust.

Nope the 500k and 250k numbers were from a GameStop US PR guy and were only related to the American market

While they exist worldwide and are pretty big in germany and spain, I think this statement was released specifically for the US market.

VG chartz even ran an article on it if I remember correctly.
